About us
InfoAtom is a specialized publication covering nuclear energy in Ukraine and worldwide.
We follow developments across the nuclear energy sector and nuclear industry, aiming not only to report events but also to explain what lies behind them, what is changing, and why it matters.
We cover operating and new nuclear power plants, reactor technologies and SMRs, power unit modernization, nuclear fuel and the fuel cycle, spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste, decommissioning, nuclear safety, regulation, the economics of the nuclear sector and supply chains.
We pay particular attention to Ukraine's nuclear energy sector – the operation of nuclear power plants during the war, developments at the Zaporizhzhia and Chornobyl NPPs, the development of Energoatom, Ukrainian manufacturers and engineering companies, international projects, and Ukraine's integration into the global nuclear market.
The InfoAtom team brings together experience in the nuclear industry, analysis and journalism. That is why our reporting looks beyond statements by companies and governments to technical details, project schedules and costs, equipment suppliers, changes to previously announced plans, and the consequences of decisions being made.
We rely on primary sources – information from nuclear power plant operators, regulators, governments, international organizations, equipment manufacturers and nuclear technology developers – and complement them with industry data and independent sources.
InfoAtom publishes news, analysis, reviews, interviews and research on nuclear energy in Ukraine and around the world.
