Ukrainian-American Denetek joined the European Industrial Alliance SMR

Denetek, which is an exclusive partnership between DTEK Group, Ukraine's largest private generating company, and the American decarbonization company Eney LLC, has joined the European Industrial Alliance for Small Modular Nuclear Reactors.

As you know, the European Industrial Alliance SMR was launched by the European Commission in the winter of this year. The Alliance brings together industry, politicians, regulators and the public. The goal of the Alliance is to promote and accelerate the development, demonstration and deployment of SMR in Europe by the early 2030s. Denetek sets the same goals in terms of private SMRs in Ukraine.

Denetek sets the same goals in terms of private SMRs in Ukraine.
Denetek announced last year that it had narrowed its selection of potential SMR suppliers to a short list of the most mature, cost-effective and safe technologies.
Denetek is also working to create a foundation for a regional SMR industry by developing and integrating local SMR supply chains to ensure rapid and efficient adoption of this technology both in Ukraine and elsewhere. Working closely with a growing number of Ukrainian nuclear supplier companies, it accelerates the deployment of SMR in Europe, using Ukraine's expertise in nuclear generation and component manufacturing, which is an integral part of the cost-effective and safe development of SMR worldwide.
