A similar tender was attempted by SD "Atomprojectengineering" from November to December last year with an expected cost of UAH 72.8 million, but could not due to a lack of offers.

In the tender documentation for last year's tender, it was stated that the technical re-equipment provided for the performance of a complex of construction, installation and commissioning works on the internal reactor control system (SVRK-M2) of power unit No. 3 of the South Ukrainian NPP in order to ensure control of the active zone with fuel from different suppliers and the replacement of the equipment of the internal reactor control system of reactor control that has exhausted the regulatory term of operation.
